Steve Barker

Steve Barker has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. He was born and raised in the Kleinburg/Woodbridge area just north of Toronto. He sensed a call from God to ministry in his high school years. He has taught and lead at various children’s and youth camps across Ontario. He served as a youth pastor in two churches and in 2006 with a small team planted Hope Community Christian Church in Cumberland Beach where he serves as Lead Pastor today.

Steve is a passionate, evangelistic Bible teacher. He teaches a number of seminars on spiritual gifts, leadership, prayer, spiritual freedom and church outreach. Along with love for his wife Joanne and their children and serving in ministry, he enjoys skiing, golfing, hockey, fishing, and watching the Toronto Raptors win!

Peter Jackson

Peter and Heather Jackson were founding directors of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship School of Ministry in 1995 during the global outpouring of the Holy Spirit. With prior experience in Daystar Ministries and YWAM, they envisioned a place to equip leaders in the Father’s love. For over 25 years, they have ministered worldwide through churches, conferences, and schools. They believe the deepest transformation happens in retreat settings, where people can step away from life’s busyness and encounter the love of the Father in a life-changing way. Their ministry continues to impact lives with healing, identity, and intimacy with God.
